The role
This is a 3-6 month full-time hybrid role for a seasoned financial services lawyer in Melbourne. The role is for a compliance, risk, legal, regulatory, or governance professional with a minimum of 5 years of experience, focusing on supporting, maintaining, and embedding compliance programs within business operations.
What we're looking for
Minimum of 5 years' experience
Experience working in a compliance, risk, legal, regulatory or governance function
Experience supporting, maintaining or enhancing a compliance program across a business
Experience providing general compliance support for breach assessment or breach investigation work
Strong understanding of compliance frameworks, policies, procedures, controls and governance processes
Experience helping to embed compliance requirements into business processes and ways of working
Excellent stakeholder management skills
Practical mindset
Strong compliance judgement and the ability to apply regulatory obligations in a practical context
Current Australian practising certificate
Right to live and work in Australia
