Senior Associate, Project Development

The role

This role is for a mid-level Associate (4-7 PQE) within the Project Development and Finance Practice, focusing on advising clients on large-scale infrastructure and development projects in the energy and transport sectors. The position involves working on both Australian and offshore transactions, supporting partners across the practice.

What you'll do

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts related to energy and infrastructure projects, including construction contracts, procurement agreements, and offtake agreements
• Support the management and coordination of legal aspects of energy and infrastructure projects, including timelines, deliverables, and client engagement
• Work collaboratively with other members of the team, to ensure cohesive and comprehensive legal support for our clients
• Maintain regular communication with clients, updating them on project status, addressing queries or concerns
• Execute multiple work streams and deliver flawless work within short timeframes, using excellent drafting skills and attention to detail
• May support managing more junior associates and graduates on transactions
