Insurance (Professional Indemnity / Medical Negligence / General Liability) - Associate/Senior Associate

The role

Mills Oakley is seeking an Associate/Senior Associate with 3-8 years of experience to join their Insurance team in Sydney. This role will focus on Professional Indemnity, Medical Negligence, and General Liability litigation, supporting leading partners and major insurers.

What you'll do

• Manage files including meeting deadlines and managing documents
• Review evidence and prepare advices on indemnity, liability and quantum
• Communicate with clients both in writing and verbally
• Identify issues, brief experts and analyse opinions
• Prepare court documents, including defences and affidavit evidence
• Draft correspondence and communicate with other practitioners
• Prepare for, manage online processes and appear in court
• Brief and liaise with counsel
• Stay updated on industry regulations, case law, and emerging trends in professional indemnity law
