The role
Hall & Wilcox is seeking an Associate Lawyer with 2-4 years of PQE to join their Property & Projects team in Sydney. This role will focus on advising clients in social infrastructure, renewable energy projects, property funds, and the public sector, working with leading partners on complex and varied matters.
What you'll do
- Advise community housing providers and other industry participants on development agreements, funding arrangements and project delivery models
- Assist on the land assembly components of renewable energy transactions, including land access agreements, easements and options for solar, wind, and battery storage projects
- Work with the HW Funds team on acquisitions, disposals and due diligence
- Support public sector clients at both state and Commonwealth level with their diverse property needs
What we're looking for
2-4 years of post-admission experience as a real estate and/or projects lawyer at a reputable mid to large size firm
Experience in social infrastructure, energy and renewables or property funds
The ability to handle the demands of working for multiple partners across jurisdictions as required
The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
Excellent technical, analytical and drafting skills with keen attention to detail
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
A strong commitment to client service and the ability to manage client relationships
A focus on achieving commercial solutions for our clients
The ability to organise and prioritise effectively
A strong desire to gain experience in social infrastructure, energy and renewables or property funds· nice to have
