Construction Associate

The role

Holland & Knight is seeking a Construction Associate with 2-5 years of PQE to join its New York office. This role will focus on construction law, supporting partners and clients in both transactional and dispute resolution aspects of major construction and infrastructure projects.

What you'll do

• Support partners and clients in all aspects of construction and infrastructure projects, from project conception through closeout
• Draft, review and negotiate complex construction, license and design-related agreements
• Prepare and negotiate owner-contractor, owner-architect, construction management, engineering, consulting, access, commissioning, procurement and other project-related contracts
• Assist with construction-related disputes
• Assist with claims avoidance strategies
• Assist with project counseling
• Assist with litigation and arbitration support
• Assist with risk management matters
