Senior Associate / Special Counsel - Construction Disputes

The role

This role is for an experienced lawyer, likely with 5+ years of PQE, to join Maddocks' construction litigation team in Melbourne, working with Anna Scannell. The position focuses on handling a variety of construction and infrastructure disputes for both public and private clients.

What you'll do

• Work across a range of matters for both public and private clients including disputes relating to time, variations and defects arising on construction and infrastructure projects
• Handle litigated construction disputes in Victorian Courts
• Manage arbitrations under domestic commercial arbitration legislation in Australia
• Engage in expert determination and mediation
• Work both autonomously and collaboratively with Partners and other members of the team on both mid and larger scale matters
