Senior Associate / Special Counsel - Tax

The role

This role is for an outstanding, ambitious Senior Associate or Special Counsel income tax lawyer with exceptional drafting, communication, and client management skills. The role is within the Tax practice group in Sydney, supporting Tax partner Stuart Broadfoot, and will focus on complex international and Australian corporate and finance tax advisory and transactional matters.

What you'll do

• Advise on a broad range of sophisticated Australian and international tax matters
• Advise on Australian income tax on corporate and financing transactions
• Advise on cross-border structuring for inbound and outbound investment
• Advise on domestic and international fund formation, structuring and advice
• Advise on redomiciliations, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and restructures
• Advise on employee share scheme advice and implementation
