The role
Norton Rose Fulbright seeks an experienced Senior Energy Lawyer for its Melbourne office, focusing on the energy transition and infrastructure projects. The role is for a lawyer with significant PQE who will advise on project documentation and work with national and regional teams on APAC transactions.
What you'll do
- Advise on and draft a range of project documentation including power purchase agreements, connection agreements, services and development agreements
- Work on a number of energy projects for project sponsors, financiers and large energy users nationally
- Coordinate due diligence for greenfield and brownfield projects, financing and acquisitions
- Manage work streams on large domestic and international projects
- Liaise with clients on consents, amendments and project delivery issues as they arise
- Assist with business development and marketing initiatives
- Delegate and supervise work and junior team members
What we're looking for
