The role
Norton Rose Fulbright is seeking an Associate or Senior Associate for their Commercial Litigation team in Brisbane. This role is for an experienced litigator with at least 3+ years PQE, who will handle a wide variety of commercial disputes across multiple sectors.
What you'll do
- Draft advices, pleadings and prepare matters for hearing
- Attend witness conferences and prepare affidavits and witness statements
- Brief senior and junior Counsel
- Appear in directions hearings and conferences
- Prepare for and attend court and mediations
- Mentor graduates, summer clerks and junior lawyers
- Assist with business development and marketing initiatives
What we're looking for
At least 3+ years PQE in a reputable commercial litigation team
Experience across a broad range of commercial litigation matters
Commercial approach and experience dealing with complex transactions
Exceptional client liaison skills
Excellent analytical, technical and drafting skills
Engaging, and highly motivated individual
