Associate / Senior Associate - Financial Services & Funds at Baker McKenzie

The role

An Associate or Senior Associate with 4-5 years PQE is sought to join the Financial Services & Funds team in Sydney or Brisbane. This role will report directly to Partner Trudi Procter and collaborate with Sydney-based Partners Bill Fuggle and Alan Darwin, focusing on financial services regulation and funds management.

What we're looking for

Minimum 4-5 years’ experience in financial services regulatory

Relevant experience in a top tier or leading international law firm

A strong client service focus

A commitment to high standards including strong drafting and commercial skills

Excellent analytical, written and oral communication

An ability to develop strong relationships with clients and take responsibility for these relationships

Business development aptitude, interest, and experience

An ability to work well in a team environment

A proven ability to delegate and willingness to develop others through mentoring and sharing experiences
