Private Equity M&A - Senior Associate at Goodwin

The role

Goodwin is seeking a highly qualified associate with 6+ years of experience for its Private Equity Group. The role is for a candidate with a strong business sense and stellar communication skills, who can manage transaction components independently and effectively build client and counsel relationships. Experience in a broad range of corporate and transactional matters including M&A, leveraged recapitalizations, growth equity, venture capital, exits, and equity compensation is essential.

What we're looking for

6+ years of experience

Experience in a broad range of corporate and transactional matters including mergers and acquisitions, leveraged recapitalizations, growth equity and venture capital transactions, and exits and equity compensation

Ability to work in teams and manage components of transactions independently

Proactive with a strong business sense

Stellar communication skills

Ability to effectively manage internal and external client and counsel relationships

Outstanding academic credentials

Comparable law firm experience

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Relevant bar admission (or eligibility to obtain admission promptly)
