The role
This role is for a midlevel Associate to join the Labor and Employment practice group in the New York office of Morgan Lewis. The position is suitable for candidates with 3-5 years of large law firm experience, focusing on employment litigation, including class actions and internal investigations.
What you'll do
- Handle single-plaintiff cases
- Handle wage and hour and other class-action lawsuits
- Conduct internal investigations
- Handle restrictive covenant litigation
- Handle arbitrations
What we're looking for
3-5 years of large law firm experience
Minimum of two years of experience in employment litigation
Experience briefing motions
Experience propounding and responding to discovery, including ESI discovery
Excellent academic credentials
Strong research, organization, writing, and analytical skills
Active New York bar membership
Significant non-employment litigation experience· nice to have
