The role

Winston Taylor seeks a mid-level Associate with 3-6 years of PQE for its New York office. This role focuses on energy and infrastructure transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, equity investments, project development, and financings within these sectors.

What you'll do

Perform and supervise due diligence
Draft principal and ancillary agreements
Coordinate with specialists (tax, environmental, real estate, regulatory, etc.)
Manage closings

What we're looking for

3-6 years of PQE

Experience in energy (particularly power generation and transmission) and infrastructure sectors

Experience with acquisitions and dispositions of and equity investments in projects and portfolios

Experience with development of projects and financings

Experience with performing and supervising due diligence

Experience with drafting of principal and ancillary agreements

Experience with coordinating with specialists (tax, environmental, real estate, regulatory, etc.)

Experience with managing closings

Excellent academic credentials from an accredited law school

Strong organizational, analytical, writing, oral communication, and people skills

Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment working closely with other lawyers and clients

Admitted to practice in New York
