The role
K&L Gates is seeking a midlevel associate with 2+ years of experience to join their Insurance Recovery and Counseling practice group in Pittsburgh. This litigation-focused role will involve counseling and representing policyholders in complex insurance coverage disputes.

- Represent policyholders in arbitrations
What we're looking for
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials
Admission to the state bar and in good standing or ability to become admitted promptly
Minimum of 2-4 years of experience
Analyze and interpret complex insurance policies, endorsements, exclusions, and coverage frameworks
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines effectively
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team oriented environment
High degree of professionalism, initiative, and attention to detail
