The role

Baker McKenzie's California offices are seeking an associate attorney with 3-5 PQE for their Dispute Resolution Practice Group. This role will focus on securities litigation, SEC enforcement, class actions, product liability, and complex commercial litigation, supporting the firm's established practices.

3-5 years of experience

Admission and membership in good standing of the California Bar

Strong academic credentials

Excellent communication skills

Excellent analytical skills

Excellent writing skills

Experience with drafting pleadings

Experience with conducting discovery

Experience with briefing motions

Experience with preparing for depositions

Large law firm experience in a busy litigation practice· nice to have

Experience taking depositions· nice to have

Experience defending depositions· nice to have

Experience arguing motions· nice to have

Former clerkship with a federal district court or circuit court judge· nice to have
