The role

Morgan, Lewis & Bockius is seeking a midlevel associate with 3-5 years of experience for its Investment Management practice group in Boston, Chicago, or Dallas. The role focuses on representing institutional investors in their investments in private funds.

What we're looking for

Three to five years of in-house, government, and/or law firm experience

Experience representing institutional investors in connection with their investments in private funds (private equity, private credit, real estate, and co-investment funds)

Strong academic credentials

Excellent communication skills

Excellent deal management skills

Excellent analytical skills

Active member of the bar in the jurisdiction of the Morgan Lewis office for which they are applying

Experience in negotiating purchase and sale agreements for secondary transactions· nice to have

Experience in forming private funds· nice to have
