Private Equity M&A (Asset Management) - Mid-Level/Senior Associate at Goodwin

The role

Goodwin is seeking a qualified associate with 3+ years of experience to join their Private Equity Group. The ideal candidate will have experience in M&A, with a preference for GP stakes transactions, and a broad background in corporate and transactional matters.

What we're looking for

3+ years of experience

Demonstrated experience working both collaboratively in teams and independently managing components of transactions

Strong experience in asset management M&A

Broad background in corporate and transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, leveraged recapitalizations, growth equity and venture capital transactions and exits, and equity compensation

Proactive with a strong business sense

Stellar communication skills

Ability to effectively manage internal and external client and counsel relationships

Bar admission (or eligibility to obtain admission promptly) in the resident office’s location is required

Particular focus on GP stakes transactions preferred· nice to have
