The role
Perkins Coie LLP is seeking a Construction Litigation Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of PQE to join its nationally recognized construction law practice in San Francisco, Palo Alto, or Los Angeles. The role will focus on dispute resolution and will also involve transactional work related to construction contracts.
What you'll do
- Support nationally recognized construction law practice
- Counsel clients on construction law matters
- Handle dispute resolution for construction cases
- Draft and negotiate construction contracts, change orders, and other construction-related agreements
What we're looking for
3-5 years of construction law or equivalent experience
Experience litigating all types of construction disputes including delay and disruption claims, payment disputes such as mechanic’s lien, bond, and stop notice claims, and breach of contract claims
Excellent academic credentials
Strong references
Superb written and oral communication skills
CA Bar membership required
Experience in preparing and negotiating construction contracts, change orders, and other construction-related agreements· nice to have
Prior AmLaw 100 experience· nice to have
Prior judicial clerkship experience· nice to have
