The role
The Asset Management Group is seeking experienced Private Funds Associates with 3-6 years of legal experience. This role focuses on advising clients on the formation, structuring, and operation of private investment funds, involving drafting fund documents and ensuring regulatory compliance.
What you'll do
Advise clients on the formation and structuring of private investment funds
Draft and negotiate fund documents, including limited partnership agreements, subscription agreements, private placement memoranda, and side letters
Ensure compliance with securities laws and other regulatory requirements
Provide ongoing legal support to fund managers and investors
Conduct due diligence and review investment documents
Assist clients with fund marketing and investor relations
Advise on secondary transactions and fund restructurings
Stay current with changes in laws and regulations affecting private funds
Collaborate with other attorneys and professionals within the firm to provide comprehensive legal services
What we're looking for

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
