The role
Sidley Austin LLP is seeking an energy/infrastructure transactional associate with 3+ years of PQE to join its Energy, Transportation & Infrastructure practice. The role involves representing sponsors, developers, investors, and financial institutions in renewable and energy transition finance and M&A transactions. Candidates should have experience in U.S. renewables and power sector project finance and tax equity transactions, or energy project development including negotiation of key project agreements.

- Represent sponsors, developers, investors, financial institutions, and other market participants in renewable and energy transition finance and M&A transactions
What we're looking for
3+ years of experience
Prior law firm experience
Admitted to practice law in the local jurisdiction
Experience in project finance and tax equity transactions in the U.S. renewables and power sector
Experience in energy project development including negotiation of material project agreements
Team players with strong interpersonal skills
Ability to manage complex transactions
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Comfortable with client interaction
