Associate/ Senior Associate - Aviation Finance

The role

The firm is seeking talented and driven Associates with up to 5 years PQE to join their globally recognised Aviation Finance team in London. This role offers an opportunity to work on sophisticated, high-value aviation transactions, advising clients such as airlines, leasing companies, and financial institutions.

What you'll do

• Support on a wide range of transactional, finance and leasing matters with aviation clients
• Advise on a wide range of cross-border aircraft finance and leasing transactions
• Take ownership of workstreams
• Lead on drafting and negotiation of transaction documents
• Manage client relationships with increasing autonomy
• Support on contentious matters, including high-value aviation disputes
• Contribute to business development initiatives and knowledge sharing within the team
• Work closely with senior lawyers on negotiations
• Manage documentation
• Help coordinate closings across multiple time zones
• Gain exposure to the commercial drivers behind aviation deals
• Build relationships with clients
