The role
Gilbert + Tobin is seeking an experienced lawyer for its leading investment funds team in Australia. This role is for individuals passionate about funds and investment, offering the opportunity to work on complex, high-profile transactions for top international and local fund managers.
What you'll do
- Work across regulatory matters, FIRB, fund manager M&A, and fund launches
- Develop all documents associated with fund establishment
- Handle registered scheme constitutions
- Draft limited partnership agreements
- Prepare trust deeds and constitutions
- Manage and draft co-investment agreements
- Provide regulatory advice under the Corporations Act
- Advise on Australian Financial Services Licensing (AFSL) requirements
What we're looking for
At least five years' experience with strong exposure to investment funds and financial services regulation
Exceptional drafting and advisory skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
