The role
Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP seeks a mid-level Associate for its Global Funds, Secondaries practice in New York. This role is for lawyers with 3-5 years of experience in secondaries transactions, particularly GP-led secondaries and continuation vehicles.
What we're looking for
3-5 years of secondaries experience
Admitted to the New York Bar
Excellent credentials
Experience working on secondary transactions, preferably GP-led secondary transactions, including continuation vehicles
Experience with negotiating fund organizational documents
Experience with purchase and sale of assets, whether portfolio companies or limited partnership interests
Benefits
Base salary for associate positions is $225,000 to $435,000, depending upon class year
