The role

Cooley is seeking a Fund Formation Attorney with 2-5 years of PQE for their Boston office. This role focuses on private investment fund formation, including sponsor-level and secondary transactions.

What we're looking for

Two to five years of private investment fund formation experience

Experience representing sponsors and investors in private investment funds

Completed fund formation transactions

Completed sponsor-level transactions

Completed secondary transactions involving limited partner and/or portfolio company interests

Worked in the corporate department of a national or international law firm

High level of academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school
