Investment Management - Financial Institutions Of Counsel

The role

Morgan, Lewis & Bockius is seeking an Of Counsel with 7+ years of experience to join its Investment Management – Financial Institutions practice group. This role will focus on investment adviser regulatory matters and requires experience with federal securities laws and counseling investment management firms on a range of compliance and disclosure issues.

What you'll do

• Counsel firms on investment adviser regulatory matters, including registration, conflicts of interest and disclosure, compliance policies and procedures, advertising and marketing, SEC regulatory examinations, and the development and distribution of products and services
• Analyze complex regulatory matters
• Produce clear and comprehensive written materials memorializing legal advice
• Manage projects of varying sizes to completion
• Engage effectively with partners across the firm and practice
• Manage and train more junior attorneys
