Morrison & Foerster is seeking a junior to mid-level Associate Attorney for its Financial Services Practice Group in New York or Washington D.C. This role focuses on cutting-edge financial services and fintech transactions, including M&A and regulatory matters, for clients such as banks, fintechs, and digital asset issuers. The position is ideal for an attorney with 3-6 years of experience in the field.
What we're looking for
Junior to mid-level associate with 3-6 years of experience
Demonstrated interest in financial services and fintech
Familiarity with strategic partnerships for payments, deposits and lending products, including BaaS agreements, co-brand credit card agreements, digital asset wallets and stablecoin infrastructure, merchant acquiring agreements, data aggregation agreements, network incentive agreements, and/or BIN sponsorship agreements
Strong analytical, drafting and communication skills
Experience in managing components of transactions independently
Admitted to the state bar in which you are practicing or eligible to waive in
