Reed Smith is seeking a junior to senior-level Associate for its Energy & Natural Resources Group. This role focuses on project development, with a preference for candidates experienced in the energy and infrastructure sectors. The position is open to candidates with 2-8 years of experience and is available in any of Reed Smith's U.S. offices.
What we're looking for
2-8 years of experience representing developers, manufacturers, sponsors, investors, and/or lenders in project development, M&A, and/or project finance transactions
Active member of the bar in the state where they sit
Experience with the development, construction, acquisition, financing, and operation of energy and infrastructure projects· nice to have
Experience drafting and negotiating supply agreements, EPC agreements, O&M agreements, LTSAs, and/or other commercial contracts related to energy and infrastructure projects, including renewable energy projects· nice to have
