Private Client - Intermediate Lawyer at Bell Gully

The role

Bell Gully is seeking an intermediate Private Client Lawyer for their Auckland office with 3+ years of PQE. This role focuses on advising high-net-worth individuals, families, and family offices on a range of private client matters, including tax and wealth management.

What you'll do

Advise on a broad range of private client matters, including tax, immigration, trusts, estate and succession planning, family law, asset structuring, and overseas investment aspects
Build trusted, long-term client relationships
Deliver practical, commercially astute advice

What we're looking for

3+ years of post-qualification experience

Strong technical skills, sound judgement and excellent attention to detail

A commercially astute approach and a proven ability to build trusted client relationships

The ability to manage complex matters independently and respond thoughtfully to sensitive client issues

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

An ambitious, collaborative mindset and the drive to succeed in a high-performing environment

Experience in advising on tax, immigration, trusts, estate and succession planning, family law, asset structuring, and/or the overseas investment rules is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided· nice to have
