Associate Lawyer - Corporate M&A (2-5 years PQE) at Arthur Cox

The role

Arthur Cox is seeking an Associate Lawyer with 2-5 years of PQE to join their leading Corporate M&A practice group in Dublin, Ireland. The role involves advising domestic and international clients on a range of complex M&A transactions.

What you'll do

Act for pioneering market participants, domestic and international
Provide legal and commercial expertise
Work as part of cross-border and interdisciplinary teams to advise on corporate activities
Actively engage in business development and thought leadership initiatives and seek out opportunities for new work
Draft legal documents clearly and concisely, creating solutions using legal knowledge and commercial judgement to advise and assist all of our clients
Attend networking and marketing events
Develop reliable relationships with the firm's clients, ensuring the highest quality of service and acting in a diligent, entrusted and professional manner

What we're looking for

2-5 years' relevant post qualification experience

Strong academic credentials

Excellent analytical, technical and drafting skills

High level of commercial and business awareness

Calm and measured approach to problem solving

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines

Strong growth mind-set that is open to feedback
