Summer student 2027 - Victoria

The role

JFK Law is seeking a Summer Student for 2027 in their Victoria office. This role is for a 2nd-year law student interested in Aboriginal Law, assisting Associates with litigation, regulatory matters, and file management for First Nations clients.

What you'll do

• Assist the firm’s Associates to represent First Nations clients in litigation and regulatory matters
• Perform day-to-day file management
• Conduct research
• Draft legal documents including correspondence, pleadings, application, and affidavits
• Attend on motions, trials, and administrative proceedings
• Participate in client meetings
