Family Solicitor

The role

Weightmans is seeking a Family Solicitor with 0-3 years of PQE to join their recognized Family Law team in Liverpool or Manchester. This role involves managing a caseload of private client matters, advising clients on various family law issues, and assisting in the development of the firm's North West practice.

What you'll do

• Manage own caseload of private client work with appropriate supervision
• Assist other case handlers in the team and wider department with their cases as may be required
• Advise and take instructions from clients in relation to their financial matters, children cases, domestic abuse, pre nups and cohab agreements
• Attend court on behalf of clients
• Prepare correspondence, notes and court paperwork
• Assist with marketing the services of the team and wider department
• Achieve financial targets and KPIs
• Ensure relevant deadlines and quality measures are adhered to
• Comply with relevant Weightmans client policies and procedures
• Work in accordance with Weightmans’ values
