Senior Associate, Litigation at Dentons

The role

Dentons is seeking a Senior Associate, Litigation for its Auckland dispute resolution team. This role is for an experienced litigation lawyer ready to manage complex disputes, advise clients, and contribute to business development.

What you'll do

Manage contract, property, negligence, corporate, and trust disputes
Advise on competition law and insolvency matters
Take ownership of matters
Manage client relationships
Contribute to business development initiatives
Work closely with partners and clients
Mentor junior team members

What we're looking for

Proven experience managing complex and high-value disputes efficiently and effectively

Experience seeking urgent relief

Experience appearing in courts and tribunals

Experience managing large discoveries

Practical understanding of alternative dispute resolution

Experience representing clients in mediations and settlement negotiations

Ability to deliver clear, commercially focused advice to clients

Ability to anticipate risks and developing strategic solutions

Talented Associate-level litigation lawyer ready to step up· nice to have
