The role

Irwin Mitchell is seeking a Solicitor with 1+ years of experience in Medical Negligence to join their leading Health Law practice group in Newcastle. This role offers the opportunity to manage your own caseload of complex, high-value claims and assist senior team members.

What you'll do

Manage your own caseload
Assist senior team members with more complex, high-value cases
Handle cases from start to finish
Use commercial and analytical skills to identify key issues and propose practical solutions for clients
Aim to secure interim payments to facilitate rehabilitation, care packages, and suitable accommodation before claims are concluded

What we're looking for

1+ years PQE in Medical Negligence

Proven experience working on high value multi track cases

Ability to take instructions from clients and give sound legal advice

Demonstrable technical experience gained within medical negligence

Demonstrable experience assisting seniors across high value complex cases

Ability to manage own caseloads whilst maintaining exceptional attention to detail and seamless service

Ability to operate independently and work collaboratively as part of a team
