Senior Associate at Stevens & Bolton

The role

Stevens & Bolton is seeking a Senior Associate for its top-ranked Employment team in Guildford. The role requires at least 5 years of PQE and focuses on acting for employers across a range of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters, including support for corporate transactions.

What you'll do

Acting for employers on a full range of employment work
Advising on restructures
Handling disputes in the tribunal and courts
Drafting employment documentation
Providing employment support on corporate transactions
Advising on commercial outsourcing TUPE work
Advising employers and individuals in relation to immigration matters
Advising on sponsorship compliance and right to work checks
Advising on pensions matters
Undertake both contentious and non-contentious work

What we're looking for

Experience of advising employers on a range of contentious and non-contentious employment law and HR issues

Experience of providing employment support in connection with corporate transactions and M&A

Experience of advising directors, senior executives and individuals on employment issues, especially terminations and settlement agreements

Excellent technical ability

Strong drafting skills

Attention to detail

Business development skills

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate concisely and with confidence

Ability to work with clients from a range of backgrounds

Highly motivated
