Lawyer - Dispute Resolution Litigation at Maddocks

The role

Maddocks is seeking a Lawyer with 18 months to 2 years PQE to join their Dispute Resolution & Litigation team in Sydney. This role focuses on a diverse range of complex litigation matters, including commissions, inquiries, historic abuse claims, contract disputes, and regulatory matters, and will involve working closely with partner Norman Lucas.

What you'll do

Be involved in a diverse range of litigation matters, including commissions and inquiries, historic abuse claims, contract disputes, and various regulatory matters
Provide sound and practical advice for private and public sector clients

What we're looking for

18 months to 2 years PQE

Significant broad litigation experience (advisory, mediation, hearings and litigation)

Experience in a high volume practice

Strong technical, drafting and research skills

Impressive academic qualifications

Engaging manner with excellent communication skills at all levels

Well-developed negotiation skills

Strong attention to detail

Legally permitted to work in Australia

Experience in historic abuse claims· nice to have

Significant personal injury experience· nice to have
