The role
Morrison & Foerster is seeking a Mid-Level Securities Litigation Associate Attorney for their Boston, New York, or San Francisco offices. This role focuses on securities litigation, representing clients in a wide array of complex disputes.
What we're looking for
3 to 6 years of law firm experience in securities, complex commercial, and/or business litigation
Experience handling sophisticated disputes involving federal and state securities laws, shareholder claims, fiduciary duties and corporate governance, class actions, and other complex business matters
Strong experience with legal research and writing
Strong experience with substantive motion practice
Strong experience with discovery
Strong experience with depositions
Strong experience with case strategy
Ability to communicate complex matters concisely and effectively, both orally and in writing
Commitment to delivering excellent client service
Strong work ethic
Collaborative approach
Interest in taking on increasing levels of responsibility
Admitted to the bar in the state in which you practice or eligible for admission by waiver
Experience with complex commercial dockets, including the Massachusetts Business Litigation Session (BLS)· nice to have
Experience with SEC investigations, internal investigations, and related regulatory or enforcement matters· nice to have
