The role
DLA Piper is seeking a Senior Associate in their Finance practice group in Auckland, New Zealand. This role is for an experienced finance lawyer to lead complex, high-value transactions, advise local and international clients, and contribute to the development of junior lawyers.
What you'll do
- Advise a diverse local and international client base on significant and sophisticated financing transactions
- Lead matters across leveraged finance, property finance, project and renewables financing, structured finance and corporate finance
- Take ownership of transactions from strategy through to execution
- Work directly with clients and stakeholders
- Partner closely with leading Finance partners
- Help develop junior lawyers
- Strengthen client relationships
- Contribute to the continued growth of the practice
What we're looking for
Proven Banking and Finance transactional experience managing complex financing transactions

Experience mentoring, supervising, and developing junior lawyers
