The role
Dentons is seeking a Solicitor/Associate with 2-5 years of PQE in Litigation to join their Wellington office. This role will focus on complex civil litigation, including drafting documents, legal research, and discovery, and offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced litigator Kate Rouch.
What you'll do
- Draft documents including correspondence, pleadings, and submissions
- Conduct legal research
- Manage discovery processes
- Prepare for and attend mediations
- Prepare for and attend judicial settlement conferences
- Prepare for and attend court appearances
What we're looking for
2-5 years PQE in Litigation/Dispute Resolution
Experience in mediation and other alternative dispute resolution
Ability to provide sound advice and develop advocacy skills
