Intermediate / Senior Lawyer – Litigation and Dispute Resolution Team at Jackson Russell

The role

Jackson Russell seeks an Intermediate/Senior Lawyer with 2-6 years of PQE for their Litigation and Dispute Resolution team in Auckland. This role involves handling a broad range of disputes and requires strong communication and problem-solving skills.

What you'll do

Work across a broad range of matters, including commercial and contractual disputes, construction claims, trust and estate litigation, property disputes, insolvency and debt recovery, as well as mediations, arbitrations, court proceedings and tribunal work
Draft pleadings and submissions
Work directly with clients
Assist with strategy
Attend mediations and hearings
Take responsibility for files with partner support

What we're looking for

2-6 years PQE in civil or commercial litigation

Strong drafting, research and analytical skills

Sound judgment

Practical approach to problem-solving

Excellent communicator

Ability to work closely with clients and colleagues

Takes pride in producing high-quality work

Keen to continue developing as a litigator

Current New Zealand practising certificate or eligibility to hold one

Right to work in New Zealand
