The role

MinterEllisonRuddWatts is seeking a Senior Solicitor / Senior Associate with 4+ years of experience in Litigation for their Wellington office. This role offers the chance to work on significant commercial disputes for a diverse client base within a collaborative and high-performing team.

What you'll do

Work on some of New Zealand's most interesting and high-profile disputes
Act for a diverse range of clients across industries
Work on a variety of complex commercial litigation matters
Lead work on files on a day-to-day basis with the client
Mentor junior lawyers

What we're looking for

Minimum of 4 years' dispute resolution experience in a commercial law firm

Desire to progress and develop career in litigation

Ability to lead work on files on a day-to-day basis with the client

Strong technical, written and analytical skills

Enjoy being given a high degree of direct client contact and responsibility

Commercial approach

Strong academic background

Clear and effective communication skills

Passionate about delivering excellent outcomes for clients

Enjoy working collaboratively· nice to have
