The role
Duncan Cotterill is seeking a Senior Solicitor/Associate with 4+ years of experience in M&A to join their Auckland team. This role focuses on complex corporate transactions for a diverse range of high-calibre clients across New Zealand.
What you'll do
- Advise an impressive mix of clients, including established corporates, privately owned businesses, start-ups, investors, funders and international clients
- Work on Mergers and acquisitions, including business sale and purchase transactions
- Work on Private capital raisings
- Work on Joint ventures, shareholder arrangements and restructurings
- Work on Employee share schemes, commercial contracts and broader corporate advisory work
- Undertake Auckland-based matters as well as work supporting the firm’s national Corporate practice
- Get close to clients and transactions
- Take ownership of key workstreams
- Deliver pragmatic, commercially savvy advice
