The role
Bell Gully is seeking a Senior Associate with 6-10 years of PQE to join their market-leading Corporate team in Auckland. This role focuses on advising major domestic and international clients on a broad range of complex corporate transactions, including M&A.
What you'll do
- Advise on private and public mergers and acquisitions
- Advise on corporate structuring and governance
- Advise on private equity and investment transactions
- Advise on joint ventures and strategic partnerships
- Advise on equity and debt capital market transactions
- Work closely with partners and clients on significant transactions
- Mentor junior lawyers
- Contribute to the continued growth of the practice
What we're looking for
6-10 years’ PQE in corporate law from a leading law firm
Strong experience in M&A and corporate transactions
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and client-management skills
A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
The ability to mentor junior team members and manage workstreams independently
Admission to practice in New Zealand (or eligibility to obtain admission)
