Solicitor - Banking

The role

Anthony Harper seeks a Solicitor for its Banking and Financial Services team in Auckland. This role is for a New Zealand-admitted lawyer with exposure to banking or financial services work, or a corporate background with a keen interest in specialising in this area. The position offers the chance to engage in a broad mix of lending transactions, financing arrangements, and regulatory matters for a diverse client base.

What you'll do

• Engage in a broad mix of banking work
• Handle lending transactions
• Manage financing arrangements
• Work on regulatory matters
• Interact with a wide range of clients including banks, credit unions, investment funds and insurers
• Draft and review documents
• Work independently when needed
• Develop practical solutions using good judgement
