The role

Hogan Lovells is seeking a mid-level to senior associate for its Corporate & Finance - Infrastructure, Energy, Resources & Projects practice in Washington D.C. This role is for a project finance lawyer with 4+ years of experience to lead workstreams on complex transactions, coordinate with partners and clients, and mentor junior lawyers.

What you'll do

Lead significant workstreams on project finance and related transactions
Coordinate directly with partners and clients
Help drive execution across multidisciplinary deal teams
Serve as an integrator across transactions and teams
Translate commercial, financing, regulatory, and sector-specific considerations into practical advice
Help ensure that matters are staffed, managed, and delivered efficiently
Supervise and mentor junior lawyers

What we're looking for

Minimum of four years of experience

Strong project finance experience

Excellent drafting, transaction management, judgment, and interpersonal skills

Excellent academic credentials

Commitment to client service

Ability to thrive in a collaborative, entrepreneurial, and fast-moving environment

Law degree from an ABA-accredited law school

Member of the Bar in the United States

Experience with energy and infrastructure· nice to have

Experience with aerospace and defense· nice to have
