The role

Hamilton Locke is seeking a Litigation Lawyer with 2+ years of experience to join their Sydney team. This role focuses on complex, high-value matters within a nationally recognised disputes practice, offering mentorship and career progression.

What you'll do

• Play a key role in strategic litigation matters
• Work directly with senior leaders
• Contribute to a nationally recognised disputes practice
• Work on a broad range of challenging and engaging matters
• Litigate complex contractual and commercial claims
• Act for head contractors and subcontractors in infrastructure and construction disputes
• Act in insolvency and restructuring-related disputes
• Run shareholder oppression and partnership disputes
• Defend regulatory investigations and prosecutions (including by ASIC)
• Advise boards and officers on corporate governance and pre-decision risk analysis
• Act in joint venture, M&A, and financial services disputes
• Support in building client relationships
