Senior Associate - Project Finance

The role

A&O Shearman is seeking a Project Finance Senior Associate with 5-7 years of experience to join their Energy, Infrastructure practice in Singapore. The role will focus on project and infrastructure finance work, supporting sophisticated sponsors and debt providers.

What you'll do

• Draft, review and amend documentation
• Provide strategic guidance to clients through strong market awareness and an understanding of key objectives
• Manage client expectations, deadlines and project delivery appropriately
• Collaborate across teams, departments and jurisdictions in a fast paced, intellectually rigorous environment
• Manage matters (or sub-sections) and maximise financial contribution
• Lead and supervise junior team members
• Recognise opportunities for business development, assist with and implement group and firm-wide business development strategies
• Engage proactively with clients both on and off deal with a view towards building and maintaining strong client relationships
• Develop and share legal and sector knowledge (internally and externally)
• Assist with billing activities and timely invoicing
