Junior Associate - CILL Scotland

The role

Clyde & Co is seeking a Junior Associate with 0-2 years of PQE to join their Catastrophic Injury and Large Loss team in Edinburgh. This role focuses on handling complex personal injury and large loss claims for insurance companies, self-insured commercial organisations, and public bodies.

What you'll do

• Act on behalf of a range of insurance companies and self-insured commercial organisations and public bodies
• Assist and handle a varied caseload
• Carry out investigations
• Take witness statements
• Review and interpret medical records and medical reports
• Report to and liaise with clients to achieve the best outcomes
• Comply with client SLAs and MI requirements
• Proactive and strategic file management, including adhering to court timetables
• Support the Partners in servicing existing clients, growing new business, and maintaining relationships with clients
• Draft all legal documents and client advice
• Deal with interlocutory proceedings, CCMCs and client meetings
• Support marketing and business development activity with the team and the wider Clyde & Co casualty group
