The role
Baker Botts is seeking an Executive Compensation & Benefits Associate with 4-7 years of experience to join their Employment practice in New York, Dallas, or Houston. This role will focus on advising clients on executive compensation and benefits matters related to M&A and other transactions, supporting both Corporate and Tax groups.
What you'll do
- Advise on equity plans
- Advise on executive employment agreements
- Advise on compensation and benefits matters arising in M&A, IPO and other transactions
- Support Corporate and Tax groups on complex, often cross-border transactions
- Gain early ownership of workstreams
- Gain exposure to high-value matters
- Help shape a growing practice
What we're looking for
4-7 years of experience
Ideally in a large law firm
Experience advising on equity plans
Experience advising on executive employment agreements
Experience advising on compensation and benefits matters arising in M&A, IPO and other transactions
Strong academics
Interest in a collaborative, national practice
Benefits
Salary range is $365,000 to $420,000
