Associate, Debt Finance

The role

White & Case is seeking a mid-level Associate for its Debt Finance practice in London. This role involves advising clients on a wide range of debt-related transactions and financial structuring, working within a fast-paced environment and supporting complex, multijurisdictional deals.

What you'll do

• Advise clients on all aspects of debt-related transactions and financial structuring
• Provide legal expertise to borrowers, lenders and other financial institutions on financing matters
• Negotiate and draft loan agreements, security documents and other related contracts
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and manage potential risks
• Apply good judgment and excellent analytical skills to all tasks
• Demonstrate strong organisational skills and self-motivation
• Collaborate effectively within a team environment
• Maintain a professional presence and prioritise client needs
• Execute multiple work streams and deliver flawless work within short timeframes
• Conduct essential contractual tasks, including editing passes on ancillary documents
• Identify and pursue business development opportunities
• Assist with and implement firm-wide strategies
• Engage proactively with clients to build and maintain strong relationships
• Provide strategic advice and address client needs
