Experienced Corporate Banking Lawyer

The role

Burges Salmon is seeking an experienced Corporate Banking Lawyer with 3+ years of PQE to join its Finance practice in Bristol, Edinburgh, or London. This role is for an ambitious, commercially minded individual who will advise lenders, borrowers, sponsors, and investors on a broad range of domestic and cross-border financing transactions.

What you'll do

• Play a key role on a broad range of financing transactions, including corporate lending transactions (bilateral and syndicated lending arrangements), acquisition and leveraged finance deals, refinancings and restructurings, fund and investment-related financings, cross-border lending transactions, and general corporate debt and financing matters
• Work directly with partners and clients, helping to manage transactions, lead workstreams and build trusted relationships with lenders, borrowers and sponsors
• Contribute to business development initiatives
• Develop sector expertise
• Support the continued growth of the team
